Vera, located in Almeria, is one of the coastal towns that offers the best beaches in the area, standing out for its tranquility, ideal for family vacations. The largest beach in the town, as well as the most crowded. It has numerous services and leisure areas, besides being next to the hotel zone of Vera. Although it does not have blue flag, it has disabled access, showers and toilets, among others.
Puerto Rey beach
Located in a quiet area of Vera, the beach of Puerto Rey extends from the mouth of the river Antas to the famous beach “El Playazo”. As all those of the city, it has a great width, which allows great affluence without being overwhelming.
Beach of Las Marinas – Bolaga
With more than 1,700 meters of beach, and an incredible width, Playa de Las Marismas is located south of the beach of Puerto Rey, and borders the municipality of Garrocha at one end. In it is also located the maritime promenade of Vera, ideal for walking, given its tranquility.
Beach of Quitapellejos (Cala Marqués)
Undoubtedly, the most quiet beach of Vera, located in the northernmost area of the beach “El Playazo”. In it, it is allowed to practice naturism, being the only area of the town where it can be done. Vera is considered as a reference in this subject, although there is no lack of users annoyed with this type of practices, who seem to have nothing else to do but complain.
