We are talking about one of the wildest natural coves of the Costa Brava and incredibly well known for the quality of its seabed. The Vigatà Cove is composed of pebbles (stones) mostly large and has an area of 120 meters long by 15 meters wide and is located at the foot of a large cliff, from which we will have to be careful because of landslides, and in which the vegetation is very present. As in most coves of this type, it is recommended to come with appropriate footwear included to enter the sea as its bottom is rocky.
Access to this wonderful cove is somewhat complicated due to the slope and the long zigzagging staircase that must be crossed to reach it, we can access from the Camino de Ronda from the part of the beach of Sant Feliu by the indicated path. It is a site very little frequented by visitors, where we can do nudism if we wish and as we can imagine, does not have any kind of service. Undoubtedly the biggest tourist attraction that has this cove, is to practice snorkeling or scuba diving due to its extraordinary seabed, where you can find the most important posidonia meadow (Posidonia algae) oceanic of the municipality, and where we can also observe starfish and a variety of schools of fish that make up a maritime environment of great natural value.
