Tres Platgetes Beach is a small cove, named after the three small coves, one main and two secondary, which historically formed this extension. Located about 200 meters walk from Portbou Beach, which we can access it through the coastal path, which presents us with several underwater caves and an ideal natural environment to enjoy our vacation. Composed of gravel and coarse sand, covers 100 meters long by 20 meters wide in which we will find ourselves at the foot of a cliff covered with vegetation and rock formations that go into the sea.
Its crystal clear waters, reefs and rocky bottoms make it a perfect place for water sports such as snorkeling or scuba diving where we can observe the myriad of underwater life it has. Its south orientation means that it is protected from the strong winds of the Tramontana that often lash this area with assiduity. It is a perfect location if we want tranquility and if we like to investigate by the rocks other coves and the secrets that hide in them. It has no services of any kind so we will have to come prepared.
