The beach of Portbou is the busiest of this small town of Girona, as it is located in the center of town. It is 270 meters long by 15 meters wide of sand mixed with gravel and bathed by the calm and crystalline waters of the Mediterranean. It has a moderate swell and is perfect for water sports such as snorkeling, sailing or scuba diving, plus we can also take a kayak ride and know the most untamed corners with which this coastal area has. The marina is located about 100 meters away, where you can rent equipment to do some water activities.
It has all kinds of services to satisfy the users who come to enjoy their vacations, in the same beach we have the most basic: toilets, showers, footbaths, litter garbage cans and access for people with reduced mobility. Nearby there are several restaurants where we can take a break for a snack and hydrate. It also has a parking lot for more than 100 places, for a fee, very close to the beach. In addition this beach has been awarded the blue flag for the quality of its beach and the services offered there.
