The Port d'Esclanyà beach is a cove located in Begur, small in size, about 50 meters long by 20 meters wide. Composed of coarse sand, stones and rocks for the most part, so we will have to come to it with proper footwear if we do not want to get our feet dusty. The name of this cove is due to the small cement jetties that as a breakwater and ramp into the sea.
Formerly it was an area that was used as a port, so it will not be strange to see boats moored nearby. It does not have any services, but nevertheless it is an area where the tranquility of its waters and the cliffs full of vegetation that surround it make it an exquisite environment to spend the day and enjoy the sun. It is an ideal place to practice water sports such as kayaking and to walk around and enjoy the environment that surrounds it.
