Sant Feliu Beach in Sant Feliu de Guixols: Information, Webcam, Weather and Map
As we can imagine, Sant Feliu Beach is the most central of all the town of Sant Feliu de Guixols, just because the beach has the same name as the town and therefore one of the busiest due to the proximity of the many visitors staying in this small town on the Costa Brava.
It is located in the town center and next to the port, consisting of 460 meters long and 50 meters wide of fine golden sand, the waters that bathe this coastal area are very calm, however once we get into the sea there are some rocky sections so we have to walk carefully, never better said.
It is a beach where you have all the services you can imagine at your disposal: showers, toilets, footbaths, access for people with reduced mobility, parking, lifeguard service, beach bar, children’s play facilities, rental of sports and recreational equipment, rental of umbrellas and hammocks etc.. In addition, it has an extraordinary promenade where we will also find various entertainment and dining establishments for our use and enjoyment.
One of the peculiarities that we find in this beach is that in the north area, the closest to the port, bathing is prohibited because it is an area reserved solely and exclusively for boats, another important note is that in the south area smoking is prohibited because it is the area most frequented by families and out of respect for our children, it is not allowed to do so.
A service that we can highlight of this beach, is that it has a bathing assistance in the sea for people with reduced mobility, we will have to approach the surveillance post and request it. For this among other things, gets the distinctive Q and the blue flag.
