Formerly, this beach as its name suggests was a set of Mediterranean vegetation dominated by pine trees. Today the area closest to the location of the old pine forest is a private golf club. The beach is located on the northern boundary of the Port of Castellón.
As for its services we could say that Pinar Beach is a five-star hotel, since it has lifeguard and lifeguard posts, equipment for children's leisure, showers, bathrooms and toilets with footbaths, sports areas for volleyball, beach soccer, and other beach sports. In addition, right next to the Playa del Pinar is the Planetarium, whose visit is more than recommended if you are on a family vacation in Castellón, or a romantic getaway in Castellón.
