For all those who shy away from the typical beach of fine sand we have the beach of MeƱakoz-Barrika, near its sister beach Arrietara. A natural and rugged place that is secluded, a place to go if you are looking for privacy. It is a fairly quiet environment, and largely due to the difficulty of the steep road.
One of the biggest attractions of this beach are its geological formations, a display of sculptures carved by the erosion of the ocean. A beach teeming with life, with numerous marine species that inhabit between the recoveros of the rocks. In its clear and transparent waters, it is common to discern the silhouette of divers snorkeling. Undoubtedly an opportunity to admire the underwater landscape that lies within its waters.
