In the district of Getxo together with the beach of Ereaga we can find the beach of Arrigunaga, a beach of the first beaches of the bay and with magnificent views towards the sea. At the foot of the cliff of La Galea, sunk between the rock wall itself and a breakwater we find the golden sands of the beach. A tongue with more than 630 meters long and with a width of 70 meters.
It is an ideal beach to go to rest or to practice multiple sports activities. Among the sports that are offered we have surfing, windsurfing, canoeing and many more that may come to mind. It also highlights the promenade on the cliffs, a spectacular path in which along the way we are presented with emblematic buildings. Iconic images of the place as the mill of Aixerrtoa and the mill of Abra.
A landscape that varies in appearance depending on the high tide, when the tide is low shows the collection of the seabed. Fact must be taken into account because it can be a nuisance for bathers who come to the beach barefoot. As for the waters, it is a place of turbulent waters that can become a danger in storms and bad weather. Because the beach is at the foot of a cliff, access to the beach is down a steep ramp, which makes access a little difficult.
