The Poniente beach along with the Levante beach, is the most visited beach in Benidorm, and therefore, very crowded during the summer. It is the longest beach of the entire municipality with more than 3km long by 100 wide, reducing its size to 30 meters at high tide. It is a somewhat quieter area but just as crowded, as the tourism of this beach is usually more national, in which we can see a lot of families enjoying these hot summer months.
Delimited between the marina of Benidorm and the Cala del Finestrat, it is a beach that is very similar to the Levante beach in terms of services as they are practically next to each other, separated by the marina and the Cala del Mal Pas. It has a wide range of accommodation and leisure and catering establishments in the vicinity, but less than the Levante beach, as it has less urbanized land, however it has behind it the tallest and most extravagant skyscraper of all, the Intenpo. Here we also have a huge variety of water sports to try to dissuade the heat in a different and fun way.
