Racó Beach is a beach that differs from the rest by its almost 400 meters long and about 50 meters wide, very rare to see on the Costa Brava as all its beaches are usually smaller coves. It is bathed by the calm waters of the Mediterranean and is composed of fine grained sand. It is also known as Pals beach, as it is located near this town.
It has all kinds of services such as lifeguard and Red Cross post, showers and toilets, beach bar and also has a parking near the beach. It is a beach that is accessible to everyone, even for people with reduced mobility. From the beach itself, on the horizon you can see the Medes Islands and have a multitude of nearby trails for hiking Begur, even you can also practice various water sports.
