Where is it and how to get to Gancho Suchiate Beach in Chiapas?
Gancho Suchiate beach is located in Chiapas, Mexico. It is located on the coast of the Pacific Ocean and two hours from Tuxtla Gutierrez. The town in which it is located, Suchiate, has a population of about 10,000 people who enjoy its beautiful beaches and warm weather all year round.
Getting to Gancho Suchiate beach can be done in several ways. If you decide to take the bus, there are two routes that travel between Cancun and Palenque. The first is a direct route that takes about six hours; it makes two stops along the way, in San Cristóbal de las Casas and Tuxtla Gutiérrez. The second route takes eight hours and makes three stops: Merida, Villahermosa and San Cristobal de las Casas. Both buses leave Cancun’s Benito Juarez International Airport at 5:30 am, except on Fridays, which depart at 7:00 pm.
The ride from Palenque airport to Playa Gancho Suchiate will take approximately one hour by cab or private vehicle with driver, who will also help you put your luggage in your room upon arrival at the Playa Gancho Suchiate Beach Hotel & Resort (there is only one).
