Blanes Beach is the best known beach of all this Girona town as it is located in the center of town, surrounded by its sides of the port of Blanes on one side and the beach of Sabanell on the other, is composed of fine golden sand and bathed by the clear waters of the Mediterranean that break on its shore in a calm way. Although it is not the longest in the municipality, it is 650 meters long and 30 meters wide, which offers plenty of space for families to enjoy their vacations.
It has a multitude of services, from the most basic such as showers, toilets, foot washes and several beach bars with terraces to playgrounds and sports area. The promenade that surrounds it, offers a wide variety of accommodation and entertainment and restaurants, also has a subway parking in the vicinity of the beach, which of course, you have to pay. As in most areas of the Costa Brava, you can perform various water activities. This beach has been awarded the environmental quality label and the blue flag.
